c. birdy photography logo...
fun project creating a logo for photographer brooke harrell of c. birdy photography. her main subjects are couples (love birdies), family (birds of a feather) and babies (little birdies). she wanted a bright and colorful bird with a pretty pattern that could also work as a watermark for her photography. here is what we ended up with:

allergy totem pole...
cris has had allergies all his life to many things that most people enjoy and that he would probably enjoy too if he weren’t allergic to them. he deals with them everyday, mostly b/c he deals with living with 2 cats that he is very allergic to. but it’s not just cats, its nuts, its shellfish, dog saliva even. i decided to make a painting about this; the weight these things have on his...

maryland produce calendar...
THE PICNIC HOUSE in kent island, md recently assigned me the task of creating a pretty calendar of all the produce that grows in maryland and when it is in season. making this design feel nostalgic and fresh was very important. the pretty dark brown is taken from their logo and their website. i used textures and vintage colors to keep it feeling nostalgic.
first fridays at work....
a couple months ago i proposed teaching a DIY class at work once a month, my boss was down with it, so august 5th i made it a reality. our first class was a success! i work at an ad agency (GKV), so the people here are a little more laid back than your average corporate office folk. and although not all of them are artists, creative thinking is encouraged by all. so the purpose of these classes is...
blue moon cafe....
redesign of BLUE MOON CAFE’S WEBSITE and logo. this project was pretty straight forward, the client needed an updated look for her site using the new photography she had done by SAM HOLDEN portraying the southern style of her cooking and the cool environment of her restaurant. while we were at it we also updated her logo, the client was still a little attached to her old logo, so we included...

Joe & Jen's Wedding Gift...
Cris and I decided to do another collaborative couple piece, much like what we did for our NEW YEARS CARD except this is a gift for a friends wedding. We hand drew it then did all the coloring in photoshop and illustrator and had it printed on archival watercolor paper. my awesome printer friend gave me a couple extras so he didn’t waste his paper and now we will be able to give their...

here is the logo i came up with the the maryland alliance for responsible gambling (MARG). since maryland recently passed the rights for gambling they needed an association to help those that may have a gambling problem which is how MARG came to be. i developed their logo/identity, WEBSITE, and am currently working on their print collateral (posters, wallet cards and brochures) that you will find...

shut up...
my most recent commission was through ANTREASIAN GALLERY on the avenue in hampden. one of their clients had a special request and they saw me fit for the job. after speaking with the client, he was looking for a kind of fetish type painting based off of a photograph he found online by BERIT LEENA RAVEN. he was looking for something a little less traditional than a square canvas. so i went on the...

under armor paints on historical hill...
recently UNDER ARMOUR (along with baltimore city) decided it would be a good idea to paint a welcome message on the side of FEDERAL HILL for the volleyball tournament participators. for some reason the federal hill historical society was not involved in this decision. the welcome message ended up not being much of one at all, it was just a giant image of the under armor logo. the historical...
