cris has had allergies all his life to many things that most people enjoy and that he would probably enjoy too if he weren’t allergic to them. he deals with them everyday, mostly b/c he deals with living with 2 cats that he is very allergic to. but it’s not just cats, its nuts, its shellfish, dog saliva even. i decided to make a painting about this; the weight these things have on his everyday life, it’s a piece of our life which is the focus for most of my paintings.
