chelsea…
cris and i stayed in one of the ocean view suites in the chelsea hotel recently and had a nice relaxing time there. not usually what you hear from people that go to atlantic city, but we didn’t go for the gambling, we went there to eat and to really just get away from our lives in baltimore for the weekend. i had a hard time even leaving the chelsea to go out and see other places b/c i loved it there so much. our room was amazing and it completely inspired this painting, in fact 1 thing in particular inspired this painting, the porcelain parrot bedside lamps in our room. man i loved them! so check it out, my most recent painting called chelsea. gouache on watercolor paper.
